 DRIVER/TECHNICIAN



Education/Experience:
 
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
· Experience with fiber optic cable splicing techniques and equipment is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
· Ability to work safely and efficiently in various weather conditions and environments.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

· Repair, install, modify and upgrade telecommunications systems and related equipment.
· Identify technical faults through diagnostic testing, ensure that there are no exposed cables and order replacement components as needed.
· Running routine tests on telecommunication systems to ensure that customers complain are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
· Check and prepare all necessary tools and materials, including vehicle, to be used on a daily basis.
· Prepare and accurately fill-out forms required by Logistics Group for proper inventory and reporting.
· Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip.
· Drive to and from the designated SO in an efficient, safe and timely manner
· Maintain a regular cleaning service of their assigned vehicle and reports to admin in case there is any issue
· Practice and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
· Provide accurate and timely report to respective Team Leader.
